Saint-Gobain Abrasives’ new safety resource microsite offers a wide range of resources focused on the safe design, application, and use of Norton abrasives products.
Educational content on the new online safety resource includes safety data sheets accessible by entering Norton products’ UPC codes. Safety guides for Norton products such as grinding wheels, portable wheels and coated/non-woven abrasives are also available. Ten informative safety videos presented in English, Spanish and French cover a range of applications including precision grinding and dressing, using form belts, guard conversions on right angle grinders, abrasives use on railroads and in foundries, wheel mounting and grinding wheel safety.
A spotlight on the product safety department helps customers get to know the team at Norton, while a safety icon library shows how to identify different types of safety icons including hazard alert, prohibition, mandatory action and proper machine use.
